Anyone know where I can get a replacement E-unit for this locomotive. I've tried cleaning and repairing buts in too poor condition.

Thanks in advance

Local train shop. Mine has them. Also Olsons on line.

Unless you are a stickler for "authenticity" you might consider replacing it with a QSI or Dallee electronic e-unit, which will most likely mount in the same place. (Check with the manufacturer for details.)

In my experience they provide reliable, virtually silent operation. (No buzz.)

Most parts dealers will carry them. I personally buy all of my parts from Tom Purdy of Grandpa's Toy Train parts and Repair.

There are also plenty of others out there, but this is the only one I have any experience with.
