Anyone familiar with WS's ReadyGrass vinyl mats?
Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, December 22, 2005 9:30 AM
I'm looking at ground cover options for my layout. I am going for the toy train look.

Through these boards, I have heard that some of the grass mats people used tended to shed.

While googling, I ran across Woodland Scenic's ReadyGrass vinyl mat. the ad says is doesn't shed and its not really that expensive--$25 will cover a 4' X 8' table--plus by using a heating tool, it can be molded for mtns, etc.

has anyone seen or used this product???

Input appreciated. Thanks and happy holidays.

I played with a small piece of it at the local hobby store. Looks pertty neat. It even comes in different shades. You can even remove some of the grass area and make roads on it.
