My Newest Find

I've always wanted a Southern green steam engine, but could never find one that I could afford.
I finally came across one, though, in the form of a repainted 2056 for the price of $100. Since my local shop offers lay-a-way, I couldn't pass this one up. It may be a Hudson rather than a Pacific, but it's close enough, and the price was right.

It looks to me like whoever did the repainting also shortened the engine-tender coupling distance by bending the part on the engine. This also makes the coupling more secure, although harder to join.
