New Years Resolutions - train-related or other?
Posted by cnw1995 on Friday, December 16, 2005 9:42 AM
David Vergun had some ideas for a few new topics I'm happy to post for any responses...

This one may be a tad early... I resolve to follow the forum more closely, add my share of off-topic posts, and be content with the trolleys I'll be getting myself for Christmas - though that PE trolley advertised in CTT has my eye. What about you?

Try to cut back on chocolate from a pound a day to 1/2 a pound.

Try to finish at least half of the layout so can get the trains running.

Complete my pond and waterfalls this spring.

Try not to be so naughty

Duda's 2006 Resolutions:

- Don't fall off the lawn mower - wear 2 seat belts
- Be more friendly to the neighbor ladies...hush, Laz!
- Eat more grits
- Trade the hooptie in on a CORVAIR
- Get a complete makeover so I can be cute like Chiefie
Small Layouts are cool! Low post counts are even more cool! NO GRITS in my pot!!!

'06 resolutions:

1. Finish wiring the switches into the AIU
2. Get the skirting around the layout
3. Spend less time on the computer and more time in the gym
4. Eliminate North Carolina as a possible vacation site
5. Consider Ohio as a possible vacation site
6. Find a leg lamp

Just one this year but I know I can keep it.

Buy more trains.[:)]

There is no such thing as a bad day of railfanning. So many trains, so little time.

I, too, will be "exploring/getting into" trolleys in '06. Looking forward to it. I already ordered the Corgi Birney PTC from Diecastdirect. Understand a power unit will be available for it in a few months. Joe

Get the building built so I can break ground on the layout.[:)] Start repairs on the old Post and pre war items i have aquired this year. Look for a 773, and whatever else she who must be obeyed says.[bow]

get all three levels of my layout running and wired. It will take years to complete the way I want it, with all scenes complete, but if I get it all wired and all three levels running trains that will be an accomplishment.

My other resolution is to try and live long enough to see Chief's benchwork.

Work less but make more money.

Lose a few pounds.

Buy old trains.
