Lionel's F3s

It seems that no matter how much research that I do, no matter how hard I study them, there is something about these famous and somewhat abundant
locos. Would some one please clear up how many production runs were made
,when those runs were produced, and the value of the models from each production run?

Hello Redneck Railfan ! I think that information may be attainable by searching in the Train Collectors Assn.
http://www.traincollectors.org/
Hoe this helps !

Hello RedneckRailfan-

A good source of info on Lionels F3's is in a book called Lionel: a colletors guide and history. This book is one of six in the collection that explains a lot about lionels postwar history, especially about the F3's. Im not sure how available this book is being that it came in a set and also how many where produced. You can try to search online for this book, its got a lot of good information that should help you out.

Sincerely
John[:D]

How about "Lionel's Postwar F3's" by Joe Algozzini, published by Kalmbach
