TCA Fund Raiser - Signed K-Line Book !!!
Posted by Anonymous on Saturday, November 19, 2005 12:33 PM
Hi folks, I sell catalogs and train paper on Ebay... I have found an early 1979 K-Line item that has some history. I have had it signed by Maury Klein ( Mr. K-line) and Al Ruocchio , past president of the TCA. It comes with the original signatures , a letter by Mr. Ruocchio mentioning how this book came about and an additional TCA item. All PROCEEDS OF THIS AUCTION , to include free posatge and an additional TCA original item, will go to the TCA via a check from me to Jan Athery of the TCA Museum. Please take the time to look at this worthy cause and put a bid in on an item that is a WIN WIN item for you and the TCA.

Below is the link to Ebay item?? Please Mr. Moderator, I hope you let this one go by as it is a legitimate item.

Thank You ... Ed Smith TCA 02-

Hi folks, I have a little update on the Ebay item that Al Ruocchio
and I have put up as a Fund Raiser for the TCA. With all proceeds
going directly to the TCA , this is a WIN WIN situation for the winner
and the TCA. Some numbers to date... We have a high bid of $80 with 21
Bidders so far and there is still 2 days to go!!! Almost 190 folks
have looked at it which is a good sign ( I use the number tracking
system that counts only once each person's view ) as the more who are
following the more who may bid. NOW..... I want to thank all who have
either bid or looked at this item which is for a worthy cause. And to
show my appreciation, I am going to sweeten the pot a bit by adding 2
more TCA Collectible Items. They are the very first 2 TCA specials
from the 70's. The first is the #1 Special from 1972, which was on
Convention cars . Shows all the cars with numbers , years and more
importantly, how many of each were produced. This is an invaluable aid
for Ebay collectors. Next is the 2nd Special produced in 1976 and is
all about the Bicentennial Trainset that was offered with pics and
history. Please go to the Ebay site to view the new pics. Again...
Thanks Ed Smith 02-54752 BTW, if anyone on this Forumn, knows how
these Specials came about, I would love to hear it and , if time, add
it to the description..
