Protosmoke-Lionel Compatibility.
Posted by danrunner on Thursday, November 3, 2005 11:37 AM
My wife just bought me a beautiful Lionel Hudson and I wanted to know if I could use MTH Protosmoke in it...She hates the normal smoke smells, but likes the Christmas scent of MTH. Are there other options for smoke, too, like K Line or LGB? Input appreciated. Have a great day!

Check this out. Many of us think it's the best, and if you can't find a scent that your wife likes, it may be time to get a new....

There's no reason why not. MTH smoke fluid is the same as was sold several years ago under the name Lehigh Valley Train Service, which then was sold as a generic smoke fluid.

Thanks for the advice. As for getting a new wife...well, could I do better than one who buys me Hudson's?

I will try a variety of the pine tree-scented ones. The wife willing to take an interest and support your hobby is worth going a little further for.
