HOW DO YOU CLEAN LEGO TRAINS?
Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, October 27, 2005 9:48 AM
Hello[8D]

I have had lego trains for quite a while now. I like playing with them because they are reliable and fun. My track is very dirty and the motor grips are not gripping the track very well. Please help me on what to do!

many thanks[8D]

You might want to start with some alcohol, and see if that removes the dirt. I'm reluctant to recommend any kind of abrasive snice there isn't that much metal to begin with in the Lego system.

when i was a kid a guy told me a good way to clean metal rails for model trains is a eraser the wide longer kind you had as a kid. just run it down the tracks and you will be amazed at how much comes off them.
