Need help in deciding which one I will keep - gotta sell the others.
#1
2367 - ex- or vg+ - some battery damage needs headlight & # board otherwise nice low mileage runners

#2
2367 - vg??? Has crack on rear near rivet, vg paint but noticable paint rub on nose has box and needs one horn

#3
2363 - vg+++ or ex - only prob is nose decal is weak but battery damage or other issues

#4
2353 - EX has small amount of batt damage to inner frame otherwise very nice and clean

I chose these to run around the tree - Almost purchased a Williams set but decided on the originals instead! I will run one of these with 4 car 2500 series aluminum passenger set. I really appriciate your advise!

FEClionel, The Doctor is In!!! To answer your Question: As I was raised on the west coast (socal) I am biased toward the Santa Fe railroad(but prefer the SP black widow paint scheme) and due to condition, I say go with the warbonnet(santa fe) They had stainless steel cars , your call on the 2500 Cars make for a logical choice for the Santa Fe F-units. I'd say to go with the Warbonnets - they look to be in the best condition of the bunch and as the Doctor says, they'll match the cars you have.

Both The Sante-Fe and Illinois Central are Keepers. The Wabash are kind of beat and could be sold if necessary.

sell the wabash as they look fairly rough, keep the Santa Fes. The Williams Santa Fes would have been a great choice.

All Lionel all the time.

Honestly I really like the 2353's and the Wabash 2367's the Wabash is a little rougher but it just needs a headlight and # board. The 2353's are not as nice as a set of 2343's and the 2367 are a little rarer. What would you pick? I really like the 2363's but I know I can get top $ for them so I will probably sell them.
I'm just happy to have original lionel running gear for my Christmas layout - now all I need is power in my house(Hurricane Wilma)!!!!!!!!!!!

I would definitly go for the warbonnets. I have the 2353 myself and it's a very good runner. Besides that, it looks great with the bright red nose and shiny colors..

Personally, I would keep the Santa Fes and the Wabash. The Santa Fes are classics, and I think that the ICs are kind of bland and boring.

The most important consideration, though, is what do you want to do?

Which would you pick to run - 2353's with 4 2500 series passenger cars or 2367 with same cars both engines were cataloged with these passenger cars. I really like the 2367 but they just lack the detail of the 2353's. This setup will be the center of my Holiday setup for years to come - I purchased both on Ebay for $325 - now which do you think is a better deal?
