Does anybody have a set of the Williams Shark nose diesels? How well do they run? Any problems or gripes about them? I am considering a set in the D&H colors. Thanks Mike

MIke,
I bought a set of the B&O sharks a year ago. They are full scale in size. Run conventionally. Has a nice sounding Horn and bell. I have pulled a train of 12 cars on O-42 curves with no problems. I have had no problems to date. I love them!
I don't think you'll go wrong.
Enjoy,
Dave

I've had two sets since 1996 or 1997 - both New York Central - one in Cigar Band and the other in Lightning stripe. They run to beat the band and pull like mules.

I forgot to mention that I decided to buy some after reviewing B&O and Pennsy sets for reviews in the Sept 96 issue. To paraphrase our Big Sister, Model Railroader's new slogan, "Feel - Lift - Run" sold me.
