Chief,

Sorry the Confederate Air Force didn't come through with the sweet tea mission . . .

The rubber bands on the plane broke!

OTTS meeting was good time and well worth the drive. Looking forward to doing it again. [:)]

Thank You's to Norm for his hospitality. Karen says I need to get my layout going again to host a meeting and let everyone else do the driving. [(-D]

Hey spankybird,
in the 10th picture on the first post, the train with the caboose, the LV hopper, and the Lionel Lines gonola, is that a postwar set? It looks exactly like the cars my dad has from his old lionel set that i now run.

Spankybird. that is not the one. The photo I was talking about had the trolley coming towards the camera, with only 3 cars in the picture.

tmcc, I have those in my set Santa brought me when I was 6 [1952]. My engine was 4-6-4 Hudson. Has a Sunoco tanker, the LV hopper, gondola and red caboose. Santa added an operating cattle car and coral along with a Plasticville station, house and church the next year. Still got them. [:)]

You guys are blessed. I cant get any O Ga operators aroung here to meet at all and I have tried with adds, and flyers, posters, ect.

The nearesr fellow tin plater to me is The Rock and he is closer to you guys than to me I think

What I wouldnt give to have some sort of contact with train guys, some sort of club.

I tried going to an HO club twice but those guys wont talk to you, they ingore you. They have it the way they want and that is it.

One of these days the old cutes will need DCS to run the crappy little engines because they cant get their walkers & wheel chairs out of each other way. Soon I expect, :)

Chief, you got lucky. I have always wanted a postwar hudson. They are such great looking engines. My dad was never really into model railroading, and that is the reason why i do not have much postwar. If he was into it though like i am , i would have a ton of postwar.

tmcc, work hard in school and go as far as you can. One day you will be able to afford postwar and all. [:)]

Chief - check out the craft store. I stop at our local one and they had spray paint call 'Flex Stone' in many different colors.
