I have a James The Red Engine from the Thomas Tank Collection from Lionel. Does anyone have any idea on the price of this? It is still sealed in it's box so it is mint. Anyones help would be greatly appreciated! [:D]

Hi Richard, welcome to the forum. I've no idea about this - I didn't think Lionel had produced a James - except in its Brio-like line - but I recommend browsing search tools like Google or train auction houses to see what comparable models are going for.

Thank You! I don't see it listed in any of the collector's guides.

Not an expert or anything, I have one and it doesn't indicate an special line it just says Lionel on the box.

P.S. I know nothing about Lionel, I got into HO.

Is it G-guage? Lionel's first foray into the world of Thomas was in that scale about 12 years ago. I have seen James as well as some coaches. Plastic bodied locos.

Yes, James has only been produced in Large Scale for Lionel. Here's a nice link: http://www.spikesys.com/Modelrr/faq1.html
