Source for Resin needed
Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, July 21, 2005 3:56 PM
I made a mold of a wall with Hydrocal. But it broke too easily. I'd like to try a 2 part resin.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a source for something that would work well in a silicone mold?

thanks

Hi TPL,

When you used hydrocol, you might want to stiffin its backing by attaching it to styrene or something firm. That might provide support you need without trying new mediums. Just an idea. But always fun anyway to try different substances.
