New Trains.com Format

What was the reason for changing the layout of the Trains.con web page? The site seems to load much faster than it used to. Was this the main reason for the change?

Tim,

Making it faster loading wasn't the sole reason, though we did try to improve that. The main reason was to organize all the story categories under the appropriate magazines. Before you could go to the Classic Toy Trains magazine page, but then you had to back up and go through a model railroading category to find stuff about Toy and large scale trains. This puts it in a more logical order.

I'll explain more about the site a new story I'll post after lunch.

And before anyone asks, yes we're changing the forums too, but that has to come in a second stage.

Thanks Tom,

I am looking forward to seeing the additional changes. I hope it also becomes easier to locate kalmbach books here on the site. I seem to always have trouble finding the books I am looking for on the site. I am looking forward to you article.
