mine would be:

1. SW-9 RK switcher; provides countless hours of switching entertainment

2. RK F-3 warbonnet. best looking train around and runs like a charm

3. RK Northern. Love watching the valve gear and hearing the throaty whistle

4. Williams diesels. Great pulling power and low cost

5. Weaver $20 scale freight cars; try to find scale cars at that price anywhere else; a few were $19

6. A squat rack; a home gym pays for itself after about a year and no standing in line or listening to other people's music

7. JuiceMan: opens a whole nother world in couisin

My best buys weren't train related.
#1. Our marriage license (and of course the minister's fee).
#2. The bill for our daughter's birth, in the military at the time so only cost $7.50

Hi Dr. John,

I have an original PW NW-2 623 and was looking at getting a Williams - they look great!

I have a couple of 1121 switches also and may get a few more. It looks like they are readily available on eBay. Here are some nice ones: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=4146&item=5962210436&rd=1#ShippingPayment

Jeep Wrangler
Snowblower
Snowshovel
Sidewalk salt
Window scrapper
Goretex Snowsuit
LL Bean Boats

I need all of this so I can get out of the house and go to the train store and/or train shows.

My best train purchase was my TMCC/Railsounds B&O FT A-B-A Passenger Set w/ six cars. Luv that train!
