K-Line Catalog
Posted by dougdagrump on Sunday, March 13, 2005 1:57 PM
Anyone have an early 90's K-Line catalog?
I'm looking for info on the 6 car set of Heavyweights in the C&O colors. I believe the part # was K-4415-xxxx.
Thanks, Doug

Doug, from the Toy Fair 1991 catalog, the C&O set was called the "Sportsman." Car numbers are:
K15-972 "Swan Tavern" Diner
K15-385 Baggage
K15-827 Carter's Grove" Coach
K15-110 Railway Post Office
K15-727 "Fort Eustis" Pullman
K15-2500 "Ridge Blue Club" Observation

Now for my K-Line questions: Anyone have the 2005 catalog? What color is the new Train-19 Conrail Box Car? Did they even change the color or style? The number is different from the previous blue one.

And are those new smaller couplers compatible with regular knuckle ones. Some of the smaller 027 types of cars are now coming with I guess "scale" couplers, like the CNJ 6-pack of hpppers, and the Hooker Tank Cars.
