Kline motor nut problem
Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, February 24, 2005 2:33 PM
I have a K-Line GP38, Older run, No Cruise control... Its gearing binds when moving in either direction, I have torn it apart and the motors are VERY loose, when you hold them down, into a single postition, they work fine, any ideas on where, or how a motor nut assembaily might be located?

Thanks!!

Chris,
What do you mean by a 'motor nut'?
How, exactly is the motor mounted to the truck?

Pat,

They are the typical truck mounted motors. There was a screw that needed to be undone from the bottom that holds it altogether, and one to hold the pickup roller on. Theres a block that the motor sits on with a screw and a worm gear the comes from the bottom. There a single screw that holds the motor on and it was loose.
