Full-Tilt-Fred's Last Stunt
Posted by highrailjon on Monday, February 21, 2005 12:13 PM
I regret to inform those of you who knew "Full-Tilt" that he has left this world in search of other adventures. Depending on how well you knew him, it could be a blessing either way. He truly lived the proverbial "candle in the wind" lifesyle. Around these parts whatever he drove always was hitting on eight cylinders. Unfortunately you could'nt say the same for his brain. So long, Fred. Here's a shot of his last stunt: (click on pix to enlarge)

Was the TexASS cowboy driving under the influence again? Hope he was wearing his helmet. It would be devistating to loose him.

Naaaw...I'm OK...I jumped out of the T-Bird when I saw the babe talking to the cop in the "Seen Better Days" thread - but I'm standin' in line behind Vergun and Lazzie... she's a definite HootchieMama - Whoa!

...but I was wearin' my helmet!!!
Small Layouts are cool! Low post counts are even more cool! NO GRITS in my pot!!!

Driver must've been tanked. Must've been some bad moonshine in the barrel.

(This layout has some curious points of interest. Bit different from your garden variety toy train layout.)

Yep, Dave, Jon's a bit more creative than most. And probably a couple of other things thrown into the mix too. :)

OOOP!! My bad, fellas. The car is not a t-bird. I was informed it was an experimental turbo engine Chrysler. Not kidding! That should explain everything![:D]

My dad told me those turbine cars were loaned to people on a temporary basis. An uncle of mine had one. They were maintianed by Chrysler and when the experiment was done they shedded them. A couple were preserved in museums and one was stuck in a watertower after it left the ground at high velocity.
