Looking for a recommendation for a good Simple & Basic wiring book to buy. Being electrically impaired I do need simple & basic hopefully with some illustrations. Thanks in advance.

I am a novice when it comes to wiring. I have found Riddle's "Wiring Your Lionel Layout" books (Volumes 1 & 2) to be excellent. He includes plenty of diagrams and his narrative text is very easy to understand.

If memory serves me correctly Kalmbach has a book covering this subject. You might try checking their list of publications.

Rozy, I found this website very helpful. Mr. Muffin is an electrical engineer from an outstanding engineering school and his commentary makes sense. When I rewired my layout, I used some of his suggestions.
