Got a Hemi?
Posted by spankybird on Saturday, February 5, 2005 2:00 PM
Another Classic Car reunion in Spanky’s Cove.

This is the same color as the ’69 Roadrunner that I owned when I was 19 years old.[:p][;)][8D]

This is also one of the few die cast models that have the RoadRunner logo on it. Walt Disney wanted an extra royalty for it.

Dodge is bringing back the Charger. I can't imagine it will be anything close to those of the 60's and 70's.
Great pics.
I better break out the camera for tomorrows posting.

Chris – it must be that age thing again, help me remember which cars are the ‘G bodies’.

Jerry – They have been made in 1:32 and 1:18 scale. I have not seen one in 1:43, if so I would have one. I best you can do for now is repaint one.

Tom, not Hemi related...but does your diner have smoke and, if so, what scent do you like from it? I know they serve great malts and shakes! I love to sit inside and watch those cool cars pull in on Friday and Saturday nights...
Small Layouts are cool! Low post counts are even more cool! NO GRITS in my pot!!!

Boy, Ertl or somebody should make a 1:43 version. I like the Bo and Luke figures that come with this 1:32 version!

Chris - That is what I thought you meant. I do not believe anyone has made these in 1:43 die cast yet, sorry.

This is why I never bought the Lionel set, I already have the same dragster.

These are made off of tooling that was originally owned by Corgi and here is the Corgi Dragster
