A woman's work is never done.  Guess I have to stir the 19 year old pot!  Wink

My dear mother used to say A man may work from Sun to Sun, but a woman's work is never done. And I would tell her, never done is right. She didn't think that was too funny.

I'm glad that somebody stirred the pot.

Been so busy this summer, I haven't really had time for trains.  Got to start thinking about a show this November that I have been invited to set up a demonstration layout at.

Evening,

I bought some Atlas O track from Walthers today, can't wait to put it together.

Also am going to see how the Army Black Knights fair against Delaware State tomorrow in football

Mornin' folks. Sunny and 52 in the Potomac Highlands. Spent yesterday on the phone, notifying our NRHS chapter members that our President, Tom, had lost his battle with leukemia overnight. I shall miss his wisdom and wit.

My sincere condolances to your chapter members 'fife on the loss of your president.

Even though you know it's coming it's still hard when it happens.

I haven't been able to log out for a long time.  Decided that it does not really mater, so I don't worry about it.

We've got a crew of masons back to do more work on our project house on Mo. this week, so I  drove down from our summer Michigan location today to  give detection and see what I can learn from them.

My route took me through Lowell, Indiana in the middle of the day - right by Spike's Railhead train store.  After Labor Day, he is open every Saturday.

Of course, I stopped to see what items in his might whisper to me to take them home.  I ended up buying a 180 watt Powerhouse brick and a 3 dome Sunoco tank car that might clean up OK.  The price on the tank car was right and I don't have one in my collection.
