Had to redo my account as a computer crash lost all my passwords, and zero help from emails to kalmbach to recover/gain access to my old account. No worries, I am back. Here are my newest additions to my tinplate fleet, 2 are gauge one live steamers, both by Bing for Bassett Lowke and both were built before Titanic was completed. First up is the GWR County of Northampton, built in 1908 by Bing in Germany for Bassett-Lowke. I am in the process of waking this old girl up from her long slumber. I should have her in steam by the end of this weekend Second up is a Midland Railway "Compound" 4-4-0. Built in 1911, also by Bing for BL. She is an excellent runner, putting in several excellent runs at a recent steamup. Both are alcohol fired(I use clean burning Bioethanol fuel). While both are simple pot boilers, they combine that toy train technology with a more scale like apperance.

And the Midland's from 1911? It's in such beautiful condition I'd never have believed it. Just as old as the Titanic and in a hell of a lot better shape!
