Looks like it works very well!
Same me, different spelling!
Nice. I had mine set up during a kid's program a while back we were running at the KATY Depot Museum. I let the kids push the buttons to load and unload the barrels. One girl - she looked to be 9 or 10 - was intrigued with it. After a while, she was using the loader to drop a barrel into an empty gondola as I drove the train by.
Later models of the 3562 included a ramp lock from the factory.

I have barrel cars both with and without the catch, iirc. Don't quote me on it. I own three cars, one a total junker, one a decent and complete car, and one is mostly complete but somebody gutted the magnet out of it for some reason. Not a problem, the junker car had one I haven't messed with them since last summer, but now I'm feeling tempted. This is a very nice solution for the earlier cars that didn't come with one, not sure I want to modify an original car personally but I think it looks and works really nicely judging by the video action!-Ellie
