You are probably all familiar with the Czech-made ETS trains, as they have been featured in CTT. It seems that they even caught the eye David Letterman! The person selling this set on ebay (which they describe as being very old) claims that it was once owned by "a celebrity which can not be named." However, they go on to mention that this nameless celebrity is a king of late-night TV and has recently had a baby, so I can't see who else it possibly could be other than Letterman. Of course, there is no actual proof that any celebrity ever owned this train, so they could just be making it up. One thing that's suspicious is that the picture they show comes right off of the ETS website. Nevertheless, it still is interesting.

Let's turn this auction over to the eBay Police and Racket Squad:
RACKET SQUAD/CBS TV/ 1951-53
[Introduction to the program by Reed Hadley] "What you are about to see is a real-life story taken from the files of police racket and bunco squads, business protective associations, and similar sources all over the country. It is intended to expose the confidence game, the carefully worked out frauds by which confidence men take more money each year from the American public than all the bank robbers and thugs with their violence."

[Program Close] " I'm closing this case now, but there'll be others because that's the way the world is built. Remember, there are people who can slap you on the back with one hand and pick your pocket with the other-and it could happen to you."
