I like to take photos of scenery I'm working on. It makes it easier to see what I need to work on next, much easier than the naked eye. Here's what I'm working on with my canyon scene. Not painted yet, but adding more rock formations.

I subscribe to the " shoehorn " method of track planning. Too many trains, how do I fit them all? It's a dilemma!

Seriously, that's a great angle for a view of the layout in all it's majesty.
Thank you! For the longest time, I kept looking at that extra Flyer track pieces,not knowing where to fit them. This maximizes the little space available in the train room. I now have trains running on 6 different levels!
Projects in the works: a complete redo and makeover of the " City" area, with some surprises.....
Watching the wheels go 'round at eye level can be somewhat hipnotic.....

that's one of several ideas I've been kicking around in my mind.Although, I never really know what I'm going to do until I actually do it....
I "borrow" a lot of scenery concepts from the entertainment industry, stage and movie sets. Which can be quite disappointing when seen up close...but from the correct angle and viewing distance, and lighting ,can be most convincing. And so it is with my " scenery".....
Remind me to tell you my" Batmobile Story" someday....

Yes, in my mind's eye, I really do visualize clouds as the " Scenery" for this train! Probably will be just that.

I saw Clark Dunham's "Station at Citigroup" back in the 90's. The word "impressive" didn't do it justice!
