Williams Passenger car coupler fix.
Posted by philo426 on Friday, July 16, 2021 12:24 PM

I recently obtained an older Williams NYC Passenger car that de coupled  .I noticed that the riveted coupler had excessive up and down play so I used a nail set to tighten the rivet .Problem solved!

Very clever!  Good fix, I'll remember that!

Here's another Williams passenger car suggestion for you.  If the ones you've got are like mine you can use 12 volt automotive light bulbs in them, that is 12 volt bayonet base bulbs.  Keep that in mind if one or more should go.

Nice find!  And hold on to them, 'cause as the saying goes "They don't make 'em no more!"

It's a shame too, Williams was always a great value for the money spent.
