Atlas sure has?

Beautiful stuff. Just got a 11,000 gal tank car today and it is just as nice if not nicer than any brass car ever made. The price is high, 60.00 but on ebay I can usually get them at better prices. With postage I paid 50 bucks for this one.
I am going to slowly replace some of my Weaver cars with the atlas as everything I have for motive power is either 3rd rail or atlas and these cars look so much better. Also have quite afew intermountain cars also.
I haven;t seen any of the latest lionel cars but have been told they are just as good.

I feel the same way about a GN 70 ton ACF hopper I bought recently. Like your tanker, there is a lot of structural detail on this car and it is immaculate like a $300 brass model. Same goes for some steelside reefers I bought. Had they done more roads I like, I'd of bought those too. UP is in the next batch.

I've been collecting Atlas O and Lionel's new scale cars for about three years now and they seem to be playing tag. They keep raising each other's bar a notch. I recently picked up a Lionel PS-4 flat. It has a diecast frame that is imaculate along with the wood deck. Lionel's steelside reefers are awesome too.

$60 too much? Naw. Forget about it. If they suck you in and excite you more than twice as many $35 cars, then you got a good deal. That's the way I see it.
