Source for decals.
Posted by Ronn W on Friday, December 4, 2020 7:02 PM

I have a circa 1920 Lionel 156 Electric locomotive with 3 passenger cars.  Since it was reapinted yellow in the late1940's it has no collector value so I am stripping and repainting it closer to its origianl green color.  I will need New York Central decals and lettering for the engine and the cars.  I can find the NY logo and the numbers 156 for the locomotive on ebay but not the decals for the cars ("New York Central Line", "pullman" and "observation".  Can anyone recommend a source for custom made decals for prewar trains?  Thanks.

Try these folks, LBR Enterprises.http://www.lbrenterprisesllc.com/

Henning's Trains might  have something like that, they reproduce period correct paints, but I don't know if they do decals.

Good luck!
