I have a starter Lionel train set that I got as a kid in the mid- to late-1960s.
It came with the following:
I managed to hang onto the most of the train and the transformer, but the caboose has disappeared.
My recollection of the caboose is that it was Crayola red with a rear cupola, though maybe center. I believe it was marked "Lionel Lines."
I found cabooses on eBay that seem to mach my memory.
Was there a standard caboose used with starter Lionel sets during this time?
Thanks in advance!
Probably a 6167.

Thanks. I was also looking at a 6017, which has "Lionel Lines" markings on it. Could that have come with that set, or is it of a different vintage?
The 6017 was too "deluxe" for that set.
It might be the 11710 "O27 Steam Freight Set" from 1969, comprising 1061, 1061T or 1062T, 6402, 6142, and 6059.

Thanks! Do you know if there is an online resource for Lionel, similar to HO Seeker, that has scans of catalogs and images of sets?
