Lionel Postwar Accessories Layout Progress
Posted by PostwarBeez on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 9:33 PM

I have been fixing up and adding postwar accessories to my layout for the past couple of years occassionally referencing this forum for info.  I thought I would share a video of the results.  As you can see I have not added any scenery and I don't mind a little rust.  We like to play with our trains more than worry how they look.  Thanks to those who have posted such useful info on this forum.

I just added a 445 Switch Tower and 356 Freight Station to the layout.  The rest of the layout can be seen through the link in my previous post.

I added a 98 Coal House and 350 Transfer Table to my postwar accessories layout.  (I know the 98 is prewar but I can't fit a 97.)  I didn't have enough space for the transfer table but really wanted one so I had to expand the layout.

Excellent my friend. I have always loved operating accessories but you need lots of real estate to place them. I run O gauge but the Flyer/MTH saw mill is one of my favorites.
