All righty cowpokes. Cowboy Here are the ingredients for my South Branch Stockyards.  I need to somehow arrange them in such a way that makes for a more "believable" scene.  I have a lot more white fencing to fabricate, and yes, I will be painting the Plasticville cattle pen white, once a configuration is decided upon.  What are your opinions on painting the Lionel 3656 white?  Suggestions appreciated.

Progress on the Arrowhead Division of American Flyer Lines

I admit its slow.  I moved the blue tape and gave myself 30" walkways on the one end and side and widened the track area by 6".

It looks promising so I threw down some additional Wide Gauge track.  It is all original Flyer track.

II think I can.

I think I can.

I think I can.

I did it!

Not much of an interesting track plan, but it will accomplish what I want it to do.  So on to painting, lighting and assembling the table and cleaning the track.  I can run a few trains now.

Painting the cattle car white?  I don't know, cattle cars were meant for rough, and let's face it, dirty service.  I'd think a dark boxcar red or brown would be more in order, possibly even a dark green.

That's a nice section you've got building!

Flintlock - I meant to paint the cattle pen (yellow), not the livestock car.  Sorry for the confusion.  I have no intention on repainting those orange ARMOUR beauties.  I might switch the Lionel pen to the opposite side of the track.  Has anyone tried that?  I also placed a cork roll down to deaden the vibration when activated.

Northwoods - I see another  inner-loop of O-31, or even O-27, in that track plan.  Perhaps a figure 8 on one of those loops.
