If so, ya know what we need?  The Magical Christmas Train!

Yeah, nothin' beats the heat like a little dose of Christmas!  Why do you think the "Hallmark Channel" shows Christmas movies this time of the year?

Anyway, climb aboard for a little relief!

I thought it was absolutely hilarious when just before Christmas last year that some far far left spokesperson called the Hallmark Channel Christmas Movies "Fascist Propaganda". I laughed so hard I almost whizzed in my britches.

"Ah, a little touch of Thomas in the night..."

And it's the REAL Thomas, not that CGI crap!

Flintlock76, that was fun to watch.  It looks like that layout is huge!  As for the other video, that was the real Thomas in my opinion too!  However I wish Ringo Starr would have returned.  He gave the stories an authentic Britishness to the stories about the inhabitants of the island of Sodor.  I felt American pronunciations detracted from what was supposed to be an all-British cast.  (No offense to George Carlin and Alec Baldwin who took over the roles of narrator and Mr. Conductor.)

Penny, that is phenomenal!  It's almost like being there in person!  There's just one thing puzzling me.......Is that a Bizarro Dumbo ride?  I distinctly remember the Dumbos flying counter-clockwise, but yours went clockwise!  In fact, I'm fairly certain the Dumbos at Disney World also flew counter-clockwise.  (No, they didn't fly backwards.  They were pointed in the other direction!)  Apart from that oddity, the rest of it is amazingly faithful.

Great work!!!

Nope, not wrong are you!

Above Disneyland, below WDW.

But here's the rub.

Dumbo has become so popular at the Magic Kingdom that there are now two of them, and they turn in opposition:

However.  My Dumbo ride:

(Seen here surrounded by Tomy plastic track for the ill-fated parade attraction which was pulled by James, the red engine...

...which was discontinued because it kept derailing in unfortunate places) came from a 1990's Polly Pocket playset based around this castle, which I used in early years as a background element:

There was a train set and the track surrounded the castle:

You could stop the loco on rollers in the track and use friction to spin the rides.  It came with the tea cups and a small representation of Main Street Station, Dumbo and Peter Pan were separate sets.  So I had no choice in which direction the elephants flew.  Wink
