Lionel Engine 2025 update

To clarify my earlier posting, my problem is with one of the contact roller bracket springs. It is not engaging properly so the contact roller has no tension and does not contact the track. I have tried to turn the spring to restore the tension without success. Can I fix this myself or does it need professional help?

longwords,

Here is a link to some drawings and parts lists. However, they do not show the collector assembly.

I took a photo of my 675 (same loco basically - the 2025 is labeled as an 0-27 loco).

From your description it sounds as if you have the rollers on the ends of a spring assembly vs the sprung levers. Tell us how your loco differs from the photo.

Regards,
Roy

It is a nuisance to keep track of two threads on the same topic. Why not repost these comments on the original thread and delete them here?
