Over the years, we have had a variety of trainmen and people figures ranging from plastic to cast metal on our layouts. Do you favor any particular brand (Plasticville, Preiser,Scenic Accents, Choohooligans,Barclay, J Hill etc.) or do you just use what "looks right"? As always, many thanks.
I haven't gotten to people as of yet on the layout, but for my passenger cars with full interiors I have bought seated, painted figurines from a company in china.

Bob Keller recently did a blog post on adding figures to your layout. Go to Community, then blog. It was just a few weeks ago.

These days I go for best price on as many as I can get at one time. But unlike most layout builders I have a theme park to populate! I'd like to add some high quality figures like those made by Artista, but my budget isn't very big.
Trains, trains, wonderful trains. The more you get, the more you toot!
