The was my late Uncle Jim's train board. I grew up watching his Lionel 2020 Turbine going around under my Grandparents tree. With his passing a few years ago the board,Turbine, and the rest of his trains became mine.

LL675, those are some beautiful legacies!

Take good care of those little "time travelers!"

But I'm more than sure you don't need to be told!

will do. Sad thing is if I don't take them with me, they'll end up on da bay. Two daughters and no interest.

Here's the layout I made for my nephew 4 years ago.  His parents have really done a great job of adding to it.

I kind of had the same problem LL675.   We don't have any kids, so I gave my chldhood Lionel 2018 and assorted track and cars to my then 12 year old nephew, and he was thrilled to get it.

My current-produced stuff, it ends up where it ends up.

Two daughters?  Well, there might  be grandchildren in the future, you never know.

Did a little different of a video this year, showing more of the tree, although some of the Lionel Hallmark ornaments are shown as well as the Lionel train at the bottom of the tree.  Past videos from the past few years are below.

I can't believe I missed this video during the Christmas holiday! I felt like I was back at Disneyland! BowBowBow I can't even begin to imagine the time and effort you put into this layout. How long have you been working on it?

Thanks!  Big Smile

Sometime in 2011 I decided to switch from my Standard Gauge/G-scale Christmas layout:

To moving my incomplete models from sitting on shelves:

Through an absolute building frenzy from roughly June of 2011 to November 2011 adding everything I could:

(The flowers are just coarse ballast painted with craft acrylics by the way.  Wink)

Coming down finally to a Thanksgiving 2011 debut:

Since then I've continued to add, expand, enhance and/or replace until it's reached the geographical limit of the room.  Future expansion is possible, but only if I can get a smaller TV stand.  However there are numerous small holes to fill and plenty of ideas waiting for that "A-ha!" moment.  I aint dead yet so I aint done yet!  Laugh
