Our church holds an annual Christmas event including model train layouts (various scale sizes). This is the beginning of my layout for this year. It will have the Lionel O Polar Express on the outside loop and an HO locomotive with passenger cars painted in the PE color scheme on the inside loop. The Santa Castle will sit atop a tunnel/mountain. I am also installing some accessories that children can operate including crossing gate, lights and church bells. Working on a Sleigh Landing Strip as well.
Buttons to push are ALWAYS a hit!
Trains, trains, wonderful trains. The more you get, the more you toot!

Thanks!
When you say "wire up a landing strip", do you have any thoughts on how you're going to do it?

i have an LED panel with sequential lights. I am trying to connect a remote switch to it then bury it into the landscape with appropriate markings. But I'm having trouble with the switch wiring. It was a remnant from an old toy.
Cool! Where would we be without old toys to canabalize?
Seriously. My daughter had a Disney Princess mailbox with leds. She gave it to me to use. Great sequential lights. Just need to figure out the switch.
