Okay not actually a train layout or trains but here is the begining of my building of my train room. This is my garage, it is very difficult to get in with my truck due to the drive way situated. So now it's going to be my train room/work shop.

The brick on the wall to the left is actually paneling from Lowes, It feels and looks like brick. This next picture is the second panel added.

If you're going to keep the windows, perhaps come up with something creative for looking outside.  Also, see if you can install that AC unit on the top portion of the window.

Keep us posted.

RT, I have to agree with Fife, As long as you are stubbing in a wall build a box for that AC unit, and run the power to the top of the wall and get it out of the window. Looking like a good start.

The A/C is going to disapear completely. Bought so wouldn't pass out from heat while working. Can not have HVAC installed in garage until we build a wall where the garage door is. From what I was told S.C. code/law, by the company that put in my new system back in Feburary.

We got the insulation done on the other outside wall today up to where the framing is, Have 6'3 3/4" more to frame. Probably work on putting the brick panelingup tomorrow and then maybe finish the framing on that wall. Then come time to figure out the area that the garage door is. As want to remove that and build a wall there with another window, but that area is my work shop area.
