Any of you remember Hiway Hobby House in Ramsey NJ?
I had this You Tube video brought to my attention by a poster on the "Classic Trains" Forum. It's old Super 8/ Super 8 Sound film of the old Hiway Hobby House and the building of the new one in 1976.
It's amateur moviemaking, and can be a little tedious at times (you can always jump ahead) but pretty interesting just the same, especially if you remember Hiway Hobby as I do.
It closed in 2004. The owner wanted to retire and the kids didn't want to take over the business, it happens.
Good memories of the place anyway. If you couldn't find "it" there you couldn't find it anywhere.

Wayne - we discussed this some time ago. Anyway I had lived in Park Ridge and drove to Ramsey to go to the Hiway Hobby House. We moved from Jersey before 1976 so that was before the new one but I well remember the "old" one. Thanks again for the reminder and memories of it. Wayne
You're welcome! And I hope some others have a look and chime in!
