A few years back, Lionel created and ran the Lionel Railroader Club (LRRC). As part of the benefits of being a member, they published a newsletter entitled, "Keep On Trackin' ". It underwent title changes over the years and ended up being called, "Inside Track". Later Lionel stopped publishing it when they decided to merge the LRRC with the Lionel Collectors Club of America (LCCA). I've been trying to complete my collection of the newsletter, but I don't know how many issues were published. The last issue I've got is #143. Can anyone tell me what issue number was the last one? I'd really appreciate it!
The last issue I have is Summer 2014, # 145

Does it state anywhere on it that it's the final issue?
Were you in the LRRC when it merged with the LCCA?
I dont see anything referencing that this is the final issue - they still have LRRC contact info and email address. I was member when it merged with LCCA and therefore assume that since 145 was the last copy of Inside Track I received that it was the final issue. When putting it away I noticed that I have 143 but no 144.
Thanks for your help! Now I know what to look for on ebay:
I actually already have #143, but the guy who sold it to me clipped his address rather than write over it with a black marker. I'd like to replace it with non-clipped issues.
That means I only need 6 more issues to complete my collection. If anyone here has any or all of those issues to sell (or giveaway!) let me know. For now, my plan is to keep checking ebay until the issues show up there. Hopefully it won't take too long.
I'm also trying to complete my collection of K-Line and MTH newsletters. I'm only missing the four issues of Volume 1 of The K-Line Connection, while I'm missing sporadic issues of MTH's Crossing Gate. If anyone here wants to get rid of any of those, send me a message.
I've been adding pics of all of the newsletters on my web-site located at www.phrankenstign.com. I've already uploaded all of the K-Line ones I have, but only about a third of the Lionel and MTH ones. It'll probably take about a month to complete them.
Here is a list of the MTH newsletters I mentioned in my previous post that I am looking for:
M.T.H. Railroaders Club (MTHRRC) "The CrossingGate":
If anyone here has any of these issues or the Lionel & K-Line issues listed in my previous post above that I'm missing, please let me know if you'd like to make a deal. I'd like to complete the listings for all three on my Train Gallery web-site at phrankenstign.com.
The main drive for me has been, and continues to be, to showcase the catalog and flyer art of model train manufacturers Lionel, K-Line, MTH, Atlas, Bachmann, Broadway Limited Imports, LGB, Right-Of-Way Industries, Tyco, Walthers, Weaver, & Williams. I may add others as time passes. For now, I've still got a backlog of items to add to the web-site that I've already acquired. I'd appreciate any help in filling holes in the different categories. I've had much more difficulty locating flyers, pamphlets, tri-folds, price lists, & posters as opposed to catalogs. If you have any you'd like to get rid of, let me know.
I'd like to preserve the history of model railroading art, because it's brought a lot of joy to the lives of so many people. After all, back in our youth, how many of us imagined ourselves as the kids in the catalogs & flyers running all of those great trains and operating those wonderful accessories?
