Removing pins from an operating track.
Posted by mgbbob on Monday, January 29, 2018 10:05 AM

Hi folks,  Back working on the layout.  I discover that the two outside pins in an operating track have slid all the way in flush with the front of the track.  Is there an easy way to retrieve the pins or just shove two more in front of the old ones. Help.

Well folks I answered my own question.  A hooked dental pick reaching in from the front caught the indent in the pin and pulled the pins right out.  Maybe this will help someone down the road.

A thin dowell or bamboo BBQ skewer shoved in from the opposite end also works.
