The pantographs on my Williams Golden Memories GG1 fall off at the lightest touch and are very difficult to reinstall.
I reallize that they need to pop off to prevent damage to the pantographs, but these pop off really easily. I am able to reinstall them after a lot of effort, but there must be an easier way.
Has anyone come up with a method to either make them a little more secure or come up with a way to reinstall them easier?

Wish I could help. Mine don't seem to come off that easy. In fact take a little force. Not a lot but a little.

I have one of their first GG1's, so assuming the method of attachment hasn't changed, here goes.
There's a stiff coil spring on the bottom of the pan base that holds against the nylon recepticle on top of the GG1 shell. The spring ends are slipped over 2 tabs on the pan base. If the tabs can be spread out slightly, the spring will put more tension on the nylon recepticle and centering pin. If that fails, try a small blob of solder on the end of the centering pin.
