ZW selection.
Posted by Michael6268 on Thursday, July 6, 2017 2:08 PM

I'm going to purchase a post-war ZW in the near future.  I'm aware of the protection that should be added to it.  Tvs, fuses/breakers, updated newer style circuit breaker in the unit etc.

My question is - is it worth it to wait and look for a ZW  (R) model versus a regular ZW model.  I know one of the main differences is the riveted core.  Just wondering if it really matters all that much.

IMHO they are all good. As long as the rollers, wiring, and cords are properly shopped the specific version is of little diference.
