Kev - that upper level looks really nice. Did you change your mind and decide not to paint it?

I did do some work on the layout till I ran out of material. After the glue dried I  placed it on the table and took some pictures,,,,,,,,,, it fits!! Glad it worked, today was only a 1/4 72R curve section going into a switch.

Got to get a 2'x4' sheet of 1/4" plywood to build some more joint supports.

Brent, the plan is to paint and add girder rails but I am building it in modules so it can be removed and also,,, more so, not to disrupt the running of the complete layout below it or moving more than need be

But first I want it all on the table and will get it up and running to check for interference with all of my trains. Once I know it is all good I will pull one section off at a time and finish them and reinstall them to the table. All along still being able to run trains if the grand-son Jordan should come by. So it will all come together over time and I can still run trains when I need to. I hope.  Tongue Tied

Banks, the pole building is 56’x32’ and , right, it is too small.  Laugh

Evening all!

Started out nice and cool with the passage of the front last night. But hit 82 pretty quickly.

Wish I could say I felt better but I do not. Guess this will take a week or so to pass.

Submmbob - nice Thumbs Up

RT - hope the garage issues stay manageable.

Banks - good luck with the tractors!

Regards, Roy

Good evening all,

Stayed home today.  Got a nasty cough and nothing I really had to do at work so there was a sick day to use.  Just rested.  I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

Been a long day. Went to farms and built a backstop for a shooting range out of crossties. Cut them into and double stacked them. Held by 2X8's and 4X4's on the back side. Came home and about 7 PM got word PD chief had killed himself. Just got home from meeting and grief councilors. Tired.

Chief, sorry about that. What drives people? Tongue Tied

My sheet of FRP is in at the Morris store so I may make a run there between rains today. Gray and cold.

Got the south loop mocked up last night so will do some shop work today.

Good evening,

Got a good deal done today, Built the platform for the south end and I am ready to set it to the table. The modular design is working fine and I can handle the placement of each section and will be able to pull it off one section at a time and finish them up.

Tomorrow I hope to get it running then do all of the checking over a week or two before the paint and railing.

Good Evening from balmy 77°F Southern Ohio,

I had to switch from days to nights today to cover for the night supervisor who called off with the crud.  I did get to go get the Netherland Dwarf doe rabbit for the oldest girl today, about 3 hours round trip, came home got her set up in the pen and went to bed, back up at 4pm and left for work at 5p.  The girls really like the buck and doe, she is pretty and will complement the buck.  The doe is skittish right now but that is to be expected till she settles into her new home.  The more the rabbits get handled the better.  I missed Gabriel’s baseball game tonight but it sounds like he had a good game, they won 4-3.

Need to go check on the guys,

Good night and may God bless

Good evening all,

Chief, sorry to hear about the loss of your police chief.  Quiet but busy day at work.  Pain two was gone and that made it nicer.  Went to see Power Rangers tonight.  Much better than earlier versions.  Saw a classmate of Lucas' and met his fiancee.  Nice couple.  Weather is wet tonight.  Got big mower ready tonight and mowed the high spots in the yard.  Frees up the weekend.  I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

Mike C. from Indiana

Bank's I hope all goes well and they fix you up today.

Cloudy and 40s today. It rained all day yesterday, came from the SW, our nasty weather usually comes directly from the west via Doug.

Kevin nice project, very neatly done.

Tomorrow's April 1st summer is just flying by.

Morning,

Mike, gutting grass already??? Stick out tongue

Well I am up. Back is more than awake. To much bending over yesterday.

Another gloom day with more rain, Yesterday's flooding has not come to be. The underbrush is very, very slowly greening up. If only we could get a few days in the 70 it would pop.

Banks, good luck today!!

Got the elevated loop up and running temporarily on my 1063 work table transformer with only one Lockon. Going to run it for awhile before I start wiring, paint and guardrails for each section. It is just sitting on the table everywhere but at the crossover between tables where it is fixed to the table ends.  Big Smile

Hello there,

Prayers answered. Heart cath over. No increase in blockages. Thanks for your help. Viewing this as a 2nd chance to get my health in check

This time they used my wrist. Much quicker and easier recovery. Three hours as opposed to 8 hours flat on my back with a sandbag on my groin. Not supposed to use my hand and arm much for 2 days. Better than lying down for 2 days.

Planning on doing my taxes this weekend while I can't do much. V8 Dennis. Search YouTube for Heart Catheterization you'll find lots of information. PM me if you like.

Heading to bed soon.

Prayers for those in need
