Rare Lionel 3530 underlined
Posted by jatracy on Monday, January 23, 2017 7:56 PM

I had took the chance in a 3530 Gen car two weeks ago, as it turns out it is the rare underlined car.

with what i have looked at, the numbers known to exsist seem to be very small.

I would like to know more about ths car and ask all of you for mor information if possible .

 Thank you in advance

My recollection is that the underlined version is found exclusively in the Rio Grande F3 set... according to "The Authoritative Guide to Lionel's Postwar Operating Cars" by Joe Algozinni and Emanuel Piazza, fewer than twelve cars with this variation exist.

To post a picture you will need to load it to photobucket or shutterfly. Then open it there and copy image and paste it here.
