Last Friday my first Lionel was put to work at the museum. All in all it saw about an hour and a half of run time, in 15 to 20 min increments.

Jim,

Those All Aboard panels make nice layouts.

There is heavy traffic on the Blueboard Central today.

Doug, my first train,,, a Lionel 202 UP ALCO is long given up. But I still have the frame and shell I painted as a kid now cleaned up and ready for paint again.. Wink

But I do love the Wabash 2339 I got this year.

I was playing with the clockwork trains today.

Marx purists avert you eyes!  Smile, Wink & Grin

But the Marx CV looks pretty good with the Lionel tender.

Hafner 1010.  This one is made from a war ration Kraft Philly cream cheese box.

Hornby Meccano.

Hornby prewar.  I have 3 of the white roof coaches and the red one has a latch coupler so I can run them with the Marx CV.

Here's one you probably never heard of.

And I only finally learned who made it just a few days ago.

The name of the company is Beckh.

The only clues I ever had was this logo on the side of the cab and the fact that the cars were marked "MADE IN WESTERN GERMANY".  Thanks to an alert clockwork collector I at least now know the name of the manufacturer and a rough idea of when it was made.  By the way, this loco like all those I posted pics of today (except the Hornby) were total rust buckets that I brought back from the dead.  Now I just have to learn more about Beckh.
