Passenger train crash at classic Hoboken Terminal
Posted by wrmcclellan on Thursday, September 29, 2016 9:10 AM

Just hit the news on NBC. Apparently the train ran through the buffers and reported to have gone into the terminal building around 9 am EDT. A lot of damage to platforms from video. No injury reports yet. Prayers for those involved.

If you have not been there it is a beautiful terminal from golden age of train travel.

Regards, Roy

Evidently over a hundred people were hurt, with at least one person who was killed from flying debris while standing on the platform.  The engineer survived, so the findings by the investigators into what caused the crash should be forthcoming very soon.
