The other day the warehouse called to say they unearthed a few 1:50 scale Athearn die-cast Ford "C" series box trucks and wanting to know what they should do. "Sell 'em cheap!" we said. So we're selling them half off the original price while they last. Interested? You can check them out here.

Carl, So I have a question on this, I decide okay I will take one of the warehouse finds on the 27th of the month. Send in my card number for your money with my order and today I check the status and it shows backordered?????????????????????  

SO what is the truth of the matter??

BTW in the order proccess nothing said they were out of stock or backordered???

I looked into it and there was a glitch with the way inventory is handled in the ordering system with one batch of order for this product number. It has been corrected, the trucks are in stock, and should be shipping right away. If you wish, you can email your order number (to [e-mail]) and I will double-check the status of your order. Sorry for the confusion on our end!

Carl, Thanks for checking it out. It sure had me wondering WTH. Looking foward to getting the truck. If I don't see it in a week or so I will send you a note. It did seem weird to me.

Carl, I checked again today and nothing is fixed or has changed. Still showing back ordered. Did not want to bug you on the forum so I sent in an e-mail like you said but did it through the order site. No reply ,,,, just an e-mail asking me to fill out a survey stating that someone had responded to me on Oct 1^st.  If so I don’t see it or the truck????

You guys need to get it together. I will pass on the survey for now, I don’t think you will like what I have to say, having worked in the service industry for over 40 years.

Well here we are 13 days out and now it shows processing, not even shipped after almost two weeks??

 I must be the only who ordered one.

Just wanted to close out on this. A nice woman by the name of Becky from Kalmbach called the other day to let me know that my truck was on the way and to say sorry for all of the confusion on this order. Seems it was a problem with a third party shipper, so she said. She was nice enough to refund the shipping cost and provide a coupon code for my next purchase. Well anyway it came today and was well worth the wait. Nice truck and will look good on the layout.
