Can anyone tell me the correct size of eyelet or rivet (not sure what the difference is) to reattach the trucks to the chassis of an AF 494 Baggage Car? The diameter of the holes in the trucks is 1/8". The diameter of the holes in the chassis is 3/16". What length "fastener" do I need? Also, where can I purchase the "fasteners"? I would like the job to look as original as possible. I know I could fasten the trucks with screws and nuts or pop rivets, but I don't want to do that. I appreciate any assistance anyone can provide.
