Question About American Flyer Display Layouts
Posted by Christopher2035 on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 2:14 PM

Does anyone know if AF did postwar display layouts like Lionel did & if there is a way to find photos of any of them?

I have this idea in my head to build a small one once I'm done w/ the postwar Lionel one. I wanted a small one that could be portable, as I would have to put it in the closet when not in use.

Yes, American Flyer had promotional displays similar to Lionel.  And there is a website devoted to the history of;

http://americanflyerdisplays.org/

I have figured out what is wrong with my brain!  On the left side nothing works right, and on the right side there is nothing left!

Thanks for the site.  I actually found it by accident last night while I was doing some research. Good info there!
