O or O-27 Calif. Zephyr passenger cars - Anybody make 'em?

I'm looking for some streamlined passenger cars to go with my Lionel Western Pacific F-3 A-A diesel lash up to portray the California Zephyr. I would like four to five cars. WP, C.B.&Q or D&RGW cars would be acceptable, but the new 18" O-scale cars from Lionel & Williams would look too big and awkward on my small fast track (O-36 curves) layout. Does anyone know if there any 'baby' streamline cars or traditional size pass. cars available at train shows or are any being manufactured by someone? I'm talking aluminum, fluted-side, Budd-style cars - not heavyweights.

Thanks in advance for any useful info.

I recommend you order a Williams catalog or check out there website. They offer plenty of choices in both O & O27 gauge in road names and styles that w can only wish Lionel would make!

the lionel set is all Burlington.

a few years back, K-Line had a cal zephyr set that was very nice. i have some of those cars. the cars that came in the set with WP ABA F7's had a baggage, three dome coaches and a dome observation. they also boxed the three dome coaches and the observation separately. in addition, they boxed the baggage and a diner separately. the diner is very hard to find. i have been looking for years. these cars were mixed ownership (WP, CB&Q, D&RGW), have full interiors (although the passengers in the domes are repetitive) and streamlining. i got extras of the domes and had jeff sohn repaint for additional names. these are great looking, great running cars. if you can find them, you would do well.

i run them behind lionel WP ABB and i added the lionel sleeper two pack to give myself a long, fairly accurate train.
